VBS in Texarkana

The week of June 9-13 we went to Texarkana and had VBS at my family's church. Averie was in the singing but unfortunately I was up there with her. YEA! Garrett had a great time. My nephew is the one to the left of Garrett (on his right). They are singing this really cute song.

We'd love to do this every year but I don't know if I can handle going around with Averie to ever class.

BUSY, BUSY, BUSY!!!

I just wanted to give you an update on my REALLY busy schedule this month and next incase you wonder where I've been!
June 16-20 VBS @ FBCH
June 22-27 Orlando w/FBCH for SLU 101
July 3-20 Pennsylvania to see family

This is my schedule for the next month and 4 days. I will probably not post anything til I get back and maybe by then I'll have something to say. Last week I was in Texarkana all week long and it was just busy, nothing real exciting!

Do you remember the song by George Strait "All my exes live in Texas"? Well, I don't know where Garrett heard the song but this is his version..."All my X's live in Texas and all my O's live in Pennsylvania". I'm not real sure where he got that from but it was the funniest thing when I first heard it. I am glad to know that he thinks that highly of our family in PA to put them in his song. We miss you guys! We'll see you real soon!!!

The Head Bugs

Sad to say...we haven't been to church much lately. Unfortunately, Averie and I have been dealing with Head Lice. WHAT A NIGHTMARE! That is something I NEVER want to deal with again. The only good thing that came out of it is that we got some new pillows. YIPPEE!! I'd have rather have bought them out of the goodness of my heart. Not the obligation due to bugs. Here we are with Mayo in the hair. Luckily she was quite the trooper. The first time we had to do it all wasn't that great but from then on she knew we had to look for bugs. Ugh! As you can tell from the smile on her face, she didn't really care.

It was easier "going through" her hair straight rather than through ALL THOSE CURLS!
