GO BUCS GO!

Here are a few pics of the kids that I needed them for the program for the HHS football games. They were so funny. I'm not really sure why Averie put up a #1, I didn't know she knew what that was. It was a little intense taking them as they were getting agrivated. I wound up using the last one though. Chad thought that Dylan would get made fun of if he had a picture of him with some bears. The two "boy" bears have out last name on the back. I love those bears. I hope you enjoy the pics.

Wouldn't you know the last one turns out the best! Averie did the whole posing thing all on her own.

I'm lovin' my camera already!

I just wish it would wipe my kids mouth for me! I don't think about that before I start snapping the pics. OH well!!! These are just some cute pics I took today.
Sweet angel! I just wish it didn't have the Spongebob box under her nose.
He's always giving his sister a hard time with that blanket.
He's such a cutie! I love those glasses, they change his whole look!
YEA!!!!!!!! I don't know why???
SWEET, SWEET, SWEET!

I finally found the TUTU!

I had someone over for pictures a couple of weeks ago. She wanted her daughter to get some pics done with the tutu. Embarrassed to say, I could NOT find it anywhere. We searched the house hi and low. Chad thought for some reason I put it in with the winter clothes. So when he took the kids to Texarkana Monday and he went by my dad's house to looked for it. Needless to say he found it and so did Garrett's head. This was so funny! The funniest thing about it is that he was doing this and then took it off before I could get the camera up so he agreed to put it back on. Averie thought she'd give it a shot too. We wouldn't let Dylan put it on, we didn't want it stretched out! ha

MY NEW CAMERA AND LENS!

Ok...not to toot-my-own-horn but I was told by a professional photographer that I was a really good photographer, I just needed a new camera. So, with my dad's help, I got just that. I got the Canon 40D and the lens to go along with it. I am so excited about it. Just from taking pics around the house I can tell a difference. I am going to go to Texarkana to spend a few days with her after we get back from PA. I am really excited to see what the future holds for Life Shots!

SLU 101 in Orlando, Florida

June 22-27 Dylan, Scotty, Sherri, Hannah, Morgan and I went to SLU (Student Leadership University http://www.studentleadership.net/ ). We left on Sunday and arrived on Monday. We got there right at 3pm on Monday and had a class (session, whatever you wanna call it) at 4pm. They lasted the majority of the time through Thursday at 2 when it was over. We got to go to Sea World on Tuesday for about 7 hours or so. We only had time to ride 2 rides and the rest of the time was spent getting from one place to another, classes, lunch and bathroom breaks. OH, we did get to see the Sea Lion show and the Shamu show. That was really cool!!! Wednesday God decided to give us some rain. We went to Universal Studios and spent about 6 hours there. It was really neat. I'd love to take my family sometime.

The speakers at the conference included:
Dr. Jay Strack, Founder of SLU;
Kenneth "Chuck" Allen, not really sure what all he's done but he was FUNNY!;
Mark A. Conklin, Business Consultant of Chick-fil-A (ummmm good);
Brent Crowe, Exec. Director of Training and Development (for SLU);
Dr. William E. Brown, Pres. of Cedarville University; and last but certainly not least...
Pat Williams, Sr. Vice President, Orlando Magic of the NBA (he was phenomenal)
All-in-all it was a GREAT experience. I learned a lot and so did the kids. Luckily we had a book to fill in the blanks and take notes in. We had 24 - 26 hours of class time while we were there. We left on Thursday and got home on Friday, early actually even though we made a "few wrong turns"! It was SOOOO FUNNY!!! We had a great time on the way there and back. There was not a dull moment to be had! I am looking forward to SLU 201.
Monday on the way there.
Tuesday!
This was a crazy lookin' shark!
These birds were everywhere. They were sooooooooo funny!
This is the Cracken, we all rode this. It was CRAZY!
About 225 of us went to Universal Studios.
They are soooooo funny!!!
I wish we could've seen them.
This is where we wanted to eat but it was rented out!
NBA City Restuarant, we ate dinner there. It was soooo good!

The menu was made out of basketball material.

We think this is a Rocket Booster from the/a Space Shuttle, not sure though.

God sent us a little reminder on our way home that he was watching over us!

VBS at FBCH

VBS for FBCH was June 16 thru 20th. We had lots of fun. Thankfully, I didn't have to hold Averie 'on my hip' all week. The class she was in rotated in to the playground where I was. She had a great time! Garrett also had fun as you will see!

Averie on the train. WOW, she has her blanket! What a surprise???!!!

What is that she has??? I feel sorry for Mrs. Tina next year 'cause I'm not letting her take it to school!

Poor Garrett must have thought it was in Spring Training for football. They had them in there doing crab crawls (or whatever they're called).

Look what all she got at the store?? A BLANKET!!!

This is her boyfriend, Jake, she looks like she wears the pants in this relationship! SORRY MAN!
Garrett, Matthew and Keaton (Kaleb was in the other group or he would've been in this shot)

Best Buds...Matthew and Garrett
